February 8, 201511 yr How are your guys backing up your appdata folder? I think it would be wonderful if LT would implement GUI based method to configure and manage a backup of these important files to the array but they have shown no interest in doing anything so far. has anyone successfully set something up that will copy the appdata folder to the array on a regular basis? I'd love some details, I have all my dockers setup and running good, and I'd like to start backing up the config just in case.
February 8, 201511 yr This is on my list of things to do, currently I have my docker.img stored on my SSD which is mounted outside of the array and my appdata as a cache only share on a 2TB HDD. I was planning on creating a hidden share called UnRAID_Backup and setting up rsync to copy my VMs and appdata to it automatically once a week. Unfortunately I've never used rsync so there's going to be a bit of a learning curve..
