damelon Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 I was in the process replacing a failing drive yesterday and a rebuild was in progress. Had a huge wind front come through and not only did the power go out for a few minutes the battery backup also failed, resulting in a power outage to the server during the rebuild process. I'm not worried about a loss of data as I have the whole array backed up elsewhere, but before I power it back on, I just wanted to know what the process would be to make sure it either continues or restarts the parity rebuild. Will it run a parity check and notice the drive is bad and then rebuild it? What should the process be or what should I do, thanks. I am running unraid 5.0.6 Quote Link to comment
