Parity check happening again and again

Featured Replies

Recently upgraded from 4.6 to 6.0beta. It says valid configuration and asks me perform parity check. Once parity check is done if I stop and start the array it is saying parity invalid and asking me to run the parity check again. It does the check, says everything is working fine but this goes in a loop if I stop and start my array.

Reason for stopping and starting my array is because I cannot see the user shares that I create until I stop the array. When I restart the array I can see the shares but then parity is invalid. Once parity check is done I cannot see the shares again even if I try to recreate them again.

Please help?

You should post a syslog (ZIP if necessary) so that we can look to see if it indicates any issues.

You flash drive may be set as read only (a syslog would say for sure).  Try running chkdsk on it from a windows computer
