Where to post for version 4.7 issues?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I cannot find a location to post a question for version 4.7 :-\ Does anyone have a link or should I post in this 5.x section?

I have an issue with an unreachable unraid.

Thanks!

There's not a dedicated v4.7 support thread ... and not likely to be one, since it's long since been superseded by v5.

Describe the details of your issue here and we'll have a look at it.

Thank you, Garycase.

My 7 drive Pro Unraid just because unreachable via ping, telnet or monitor and keyboard. This happened before and I found the PCI SATA interface card to be the culprit which I changed to a better PCI Express card. I forcefully shutdown the unraid by holding down the power button. Upon restart the unraid went into a parity check (like it should) and it completed without any parity errors. I used unmenu to download the Syslog and notice a couple of errors and failed lines. I researched and it seems to be the interface card, cable, or something other but I am not sure. I will search for a BIOS setting post to compare against my settings. I would appreciate any help. Thank you again.

I noted the following errors in the syslog.

Feb 19 07:28:38 unraid kernel: ACPI Error (psargs-0359): [ECEN] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (Minor Issues)

Did rebooting it resolve the ability to access it?

... and what exactly can't you access -- the files (via Windows Explorer);  the Web GUI; or UnMenu ?
