HELP, config broken after taking out a SSD

Featured Replies

I am a relative new user of Unraid, have been running the system for 6 mos without much customizations.

I had 1 cache drive and 4 (1 parity + 3 drive setup) data drives.

One of the drives turned red suddenly, multiple stop starts did not help.

In haste I ran the initconfig command, it crashed my config to now where I am seeing 3 unformatted drives (parity is ok).

I read on a thread that unformatted shows up when the drive cannot be mounted.

My question is - is there a way to recover data from those 3 drives?

Could somebody point me to the steps for this?

regards,

Tanmay

What version of unRAID?

Do you mean you did initconfig from the command line?

If you removed a drive you may have disturbed the connections on your other drives. Check them.

Post a syslog.
