So, i enabled this feature on my Asus P85M mobo, and when i shutdown the server, after a few minutes it boot up online again. There is no network activity or anyone trying to access the server. I do not have any plugins or scripts on the server for wakeup or shutdown. ANy clues what could be causing this?

    Unplug it from the network after you shut it down and see if it still does it.

    Also check your BIOS, it may have triggers enabled to bring the system up.

    I tried un-plugging LAN cable, it wont boot up automatically, however when LAN cable is plugged it does boot up within a few minutes. There isint much setting to play around with in the BIOS relating to WOL.
