February 25, 201511 yr I have had plex up and running for at least a year or more, worked great. All of the sudden doesnt show in plex web interface. My roku can see it, if I put in SERVERS after the http://127.0.0.1:32400/server it shows up in the list. I reloaded my whole plex set up in my unraid server and that didnt fix it. I need to set up all my folders and files and I cant do it without TOWER being in the plex web window, any help would be great, thank you.

Are you running plexmediaserver on your unRAID? Or are you running plexmediaserver on your PC? 127.0.0.1 cannot be the IP address of your unRAID server. It is the loopback IP address and can only refer to your PC if you are on your PC when you use that address.
February 25, 201511 yr Author Im running plex media server on my unraid server. I use the plex media server on my pc to manipulate the plex media server on the unraid server, i.e. add folders, adjust settings etc. Now my plex media center on unraid doesnt show up on PC plex media server. I re-installed plex media center on unraid box in hopes that would fix problem and it didnt. Now I dont have any shows, movies etc because I re-loaded plex media server on unraid. plex media server is visable everywhere, except pc media server. My rokus can see it. thanks for the reply
February 27, 201511 yr Author My Plex media server was not showing in my PC's plex media server http://127.0.0.:32400/web/index.html. All of the sudden my (tower) plex media server was not showing up there. I read some similar complaints and their fix was to reload plex on the unraid box. I did that and wiped all of my movies, shows and music file directories from the plex media server. After reload still PMS never showed in Plex app or plex tv. Unraid said PMS is running, my roku and my phone would say the tower(PMS) is there but since i wiped, no shows or movies would show up. I dont know why it worked like this but it did. I took my towers ip and put it in place of 127.0.0.1. It look like this. 192.168.1.117:32400/web/index.html. And all of the sudden everything worked. My tower now shows up under plex app and plex.tv Is this normal behavior?
February 27, 201511 yr 127.0.0.1 Refers to the local computer you're on. IE: when you punched in http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html it was trying to access Plex's UI on your desktop (ie - That address means that plex is running on your desktop)

Use and manage plex on the unraid server from the 192.168.1.117:32400 address. That is assuming this is your unraid servers address.
