Is it possible to add a new user to unRaid but with only limited share access? Say i want him to be able to not access a certain DIR in my share? Or access to only a few folders etc

You can control this at the user share level, but not at the subfolder level.

How can this be done? I don't see any option to do this while adding shares. Arent there any plugins or something which can help accomplish this?

If you are using the free version of unRAID v5 then I don't think secure or private shares are available.

 

If not, just click on the share name and it should take you to a page to configure security for the share.
