Access denied accessing public shares

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm currently running 6.0b12 and my PLEX server has started getting 'Access Denied' errors when trying to access any media stored on my unRAID box. It's been working ok for a couple of months and nothing has changed, but I started getting this issue yesterday.

I've rebooted several times, run the 'New Permissions' tool and can access via UNC ok, but only as root. All the shares are exported and public. The PLEX is on a different box and is not the unRAID plugin/docker.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Technically, root user has no share access over the network.

What OS are you running Plex on? If Windows, delete all unRAID references in Credential Manager.

That's just stupidly obvious...

I'll check it when I get home.

Well that sorted it.

Thanks.
