[6.0b14b+webGui] (Cosmetic) Incorrect Memory Value on Dashboard

Featured Replies

Since installing a new raid card with onboard memory, the dashboard reporting that memory value, rather than system memory. (at least thats what i think is happening).

Currently I have 8GB Memory in the server, so the "allocated" value seems fine, but it must be referencing an incorrect value for the "installed" memory.

Also shows an incorrect value on the system info pop up:

The obvious test is if it corrects the value if you remove the RAID card.  Which RAID card?

Its an LSI SAS 3081E. (flashed from a dell sas 6i/r).

And yes, the memory value is correctly reported when the card is removed.

As the title suggests, its only a cosmetic issue and isn't causing issues with memory allocation.

nevertheless, still an issue though.

Actually mine doesn't show correctly either. This is what I see:

Memory: 8192 MB (max. installable capacity 4 GB)

I only have 4GB installed - the numbers seem reversed.

I have a similar issue.

On my Supermicro X8DT6 board with 2 Xeon 5520's (16 cpu's total), I have 16,106MB memory allocated (quite true), and the dashboard says I have installed 192GB (max. 192 GB).... shouldn't it read installed 16GB and Max 192 GB?

I have a similar Raid card as the OP, but I'm hestitant to remove it to see if the memory size changes.

This is on 6.0R-3.
