unRaid and NovaBackup?

Featured Replies

I am thinking that it's time to get rid of my Windows Home Server 2011, and I'm looking for a replacement solution.  The latest version of NovaBackup got a pretty good review at PC Mag, but I was wondering if anyone here has used it with unRaid, and have any good/bad/horror stories they would like to share?

I also notice that lots of folks seem to use crashplan.  Any comments or comparisons with Novabackup would also be appreciated.

Thanks,

Looks like this may be Windows only. Of course it could use unRAID as a NAS just like a lot of other packages. The interest in Crashplan in this forum is because it can be run directly on unRAID.

I was wondering if anyone here has used it with unRaid, and have any good/bad/horror stories they would like to share?

Yesterday i was writing a script and accidentally removed all my family pictures from the server. I was able to recover them in no time with CrashPlan.
