March 16, 201511 yr I have a share called timemachine that i was backing up my mac to. there where some errors in the backup so i pointed time machine to another location and i would now like to delete the data on that share. How do i do this i tried to trash it while logged in and connected to the share but at this point nothing has been deleted... its just sitting there... How do i get rid of this unusable data?

It's unclear to me did you log in via ssh or telnet, and try removing it with rm -r /mnt/user/timemachine
March 19, 201511 yr Author I tried that and its not empty so it did do it. I guess i will have to figure out how to remove the Broken TM files inside it.
