Quassel (http://quassel-irc.org/) is a distributed IRC client - the quassel-core installs on a server and maintains connections to IRC servers, then quassel-client connects to it, so that you are always on IRC.

 

This would be perfect for unRAID using docker!

 

There is even a web based quassel-client - https://www.npmjs.com/package/quassel-webserver
