Trying to install bwn....and fails on the download.

 

Package URL for bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-4cf.txz

 

slackers.it shows Page Not found

 

Been trying to find another location to get it....but having no luck.

I did find this instead: Package URL for bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-5cf.txz

 

Can this be used if updating the conf? or does it have to be this version?

There's only one way to find  out, note that if there's an md5 for that file the install will fail

Yep it works!

 

Download bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-5cf.txz

 

Copy it into /boot/packages

 

Modify the bwm-ng-unmenu-package.conf file and update these fields with the below (or rename the old conf and create a new one):

 

PACKAGE_URL http://www.slackers.it/repository/bwm-ng/bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-5cf.txz
PACKAGE_FILE bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-5cf.txz
PACKAGE_MD5 8e1a677bf059904f5ed19bb5a475afce
PACKAGE_INSTALLATION installpkg bwm-ng-0.6-x86_64-5cf.txz

 

Then goto the pkg manager and download/install
