Just noticed a red ball on one of my drives. Recently, ran system check with no errors. Any ideas?

    By "system check" do you mean "parity check", or what?

     

    Post a smart report of the problem drive.

     

    Check cables.

     

    A red ball means unRAID has disabled the disk due to a write error. It will simulate the drive using parity and the other drives. The data on the disk is no longer reliable, and you should rebuild it.
