March 27, 201511 yr Hello everybody - I'm semi-new to UnRaid and don't have a huge amount of technical experience, however I've been personally troubleshooting and maintaining my Unraid Server for about a year and a half now. I'm currently running UnRaid 32 bit and I've been able to solve all of my problems using this forum... until now. AS the title states, I just recently restarted my server, and much to my disappointment, all of my shares, and my /mnt/user AND my /usr/local/.. directories are GONE. They show up when I run the 'ls' command in the directory, but when I navigate or attempt to navigate to them I am greeted by a 'this directory does not exist' dialog. The only change I made to the system was upgrading the Plex Media Server .txz file from version 9.9.x to 9.11.x and restarting the system for changes to take effect. I have restarted the system HUNDREDS of times before to make simple changes like this, but this is the first time I have had this issue. I am almost certain that this is some sort of permissions problems, or some sort of configuration problem, but I dont have enough technical experience with linux to debug it any farther. If you have any questions about my syslog, or my system information, what add ons I'm running (not running GCC I know that was a common problem for a while - permission wise) just ask and I will provide the information for you as I'm not sure what's needed to debug this problem. I currently have about 4.5 TB of data on the server, everything from media to personal files to Archive files, and I REALLY cannot have another system failure. However if this is indeed a system failure, I suppose it can't be prevented. Your community is great, and the information on this forum has proven invaluable to me thus far, but like I said I just don't have the technical experience necessary to debug this problem. Please comment any requests for information that you have if you can help or want to help and I will provide you with it. STATS: Unraid Plus 5.x 16GB Ram 7 HDD (1 - 3TB, 4 - 2TB, 1- 1TB, 1 - 500GB (Cache)) Cheers.
