Hi all,

 

Sickbeard/sabnzbd have been working wonderfully the last couple weeks.  Woke up this morning, sickbeard wont start.  Plugin is stopped, here is the log when I attempt to start:

Probably best to post this in the thread where you got the plugin. That is where it is supported.

I had exactly the same issue.  I ended up installing Phaze's sonarr plugin and am getting to grips with that instead.

i also recommend moving to sonarr. if a download fails or the file is corrupt, it automatically downloads another version. it has much better episode handling and the program is actively updated. From what Ive read, sickbeard development has been mostly retired by the dev.

 

expect about an hour to get everything migrated over and learn their layout. but, it can read your /TV share of already in progress TV shows and just import them to its scheduler.

 

Also, if on android, NZB360 is a great management tool for either SB or Sonarr. Its no longer in the play store, but the free version is available through the dev;s site. the full version isnt cheap ($10), but might be worth it

The only downside to Sonarr seems to be that it expects your server to be on 24x7.  If this isn't the case (as I switch mine off overnight) then it can easily miss a task to update series which only runs every 12hrs.

 

If you don't notice this and manually update you could be missing episodes without realising.

 

Other than that it is leagues ahead of sickbeard.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!  Tried Sonarr and I am getting the same thing as sickbeard.  Keep in mind SABNZBD and Coachpotato both work well...

Sonarr wont even let me update, ill attach a screen shot as well.

what have you got as your config directory?

 

my install directory is:  /usr/local/Sonarr  (think this was the default)

and config directory: /mnt/cache/apps/Sonarr/AppData

 

I notice you have changed your install directory to somewhere else... so not sure if this is the issue?

I'm happy with Sickbeard_alt and sabnzb on unraid 5.06. But I'll compare with sonarr

why are you installing and using plugins instead of the docker? I didnt have luck with unraid 6 plugins. docker works great though. all of your plugins and so much more are available through docker.

Correct, but it relates to an issue with a plugin that seemed to affect both v5 & v6 at the same time

OPs screen shot is clearly v6. so its appropriate to be posted here. v5 issues should be posted in v5 bc some plugins wont work with v6.

 

since op is on v6, there is little reason to run plugins when docker works better and wont have compatibility issues.

So, im trying dockers now.  Installed sabnzbd and sickbeard.  Has anybody had success with these two on dockers?  My only issue right now is that sickbeard never created an autoprocesstv folder/file when it installed.  Anybody know why that is?
