Thanks Homepage is out of date. While true that it is out of date, it probably has something to do with the fact that 4.5 is still in beta and Tom does not want to advertise 20 drive support for a beta product (no matter how stable the beta is).

Thanks Homepage is out of date. While true that it is out of date, it probably has something to do with the fact that 4.5 is still in beta and Tom does not want to advertise 20 drive support for a beta product (no matter how stable the beta is). But if someone is building an unRAID server from scratch they should know with a Pro key and 4.5b6 they can have 21 total drives so they can plan ahead; wouldn't you agree?
July 2, 200917 yr Should be noted that although 21 (19 data) drive support is advertised in the latest beta - it does not current work so the real limit is stil 17 (15 data). I expect the next beta will resolve, but the author is "away" and has not responded on the issue.

I expect the next beta will resolve, but the author is "away" and has not responded on the issue. Away as in dead? I have to say, having recently spent quite a lot of my hard-earned cash buying two Pro licenses, it's odd to me that no rep from the "company" deems it necessary to show up on their own support forum for days or weeks? I'm being a little sarcastic, as it seems the company is one person?
July 2, 200917 yr TO be fair its cyclic. Tom from Limetech goes MIA then comes back usually with a new version or some cool new feature. However saying that no post from Limetech in over 50 days (early May and its now July) has implications to any one that notices. He will be back soon enough I am sure.
July 3, 200917 yr He's logged on in the last week and probably taking care of other things. We don't always know what goes on behind the scene.
July 4, 200917 yr And when you receive a pro license you don't get a beta, you get the latest stable release so it's 17 (with 15 data, 1 parity and an optional 1 cache), with more potentially in the future =)
