Dead Disk & Upgrade Parity Drive - How?

I have an array of 10 2Tb disks including the parity drive. One data disk is dead and unRaid has disabled that drive. I don't have a spare 2tb to replace it and rebuild the array with.

 

Is it possible to upgrade the parity drive first to a larger size drive (4tb), then replace the dead disk with a new drive the same size as parity and have unRaid rebuild that drive?

    Your situation appears to require the "swap-disable" procedure.  I would personally recommend that you preclear your new parity disk before doing this procedure.  You want to make absolutely certain that your new parity disk is good before you start!!!
