[solved] Permissions smb problem can't access server

Hi

I can't log into my system  by ip or name,  only got access via console command prompt.

Previously was messing about with my smb network shares folder,  just opening up access permissions  from Windows 7 computer to try and get an old media player box on my network.

Now I have nothing working

is this now a permissions  problem and how can I fix from command prompt

    Very weird

    Switched my server off when iI went out came back 8 hours later and it's all working OK now.

    I did reboot it numerous times previously..  Strange one..

    But all working now.  Thanks
