since installing v6 (although i'm sure these were there before but just never knew about it), i enabled the email alerts for all alerts, warnings, etc. i have 3 drives reporting errors but it seems overall health is good as they report pass and are green, and haven't had any errors as of late in my monthly parity checks. can anyone help me decipher these and see what needs to be replaced?

There's no major problems with any of those drives.  You've got 9 reallocated sectors on the 320 gig, and around 10000 hours ago it had some problems which looks like it may have been cable / power related.

 

Whenever v6 reboots, you're going to be emailed about the status of those drives since they do show values in the attributes which are monitored.  After that, you're only going to be emailed status if those attributes change.  If you start getting those emails, that's the time to start checking into whats going on.

 

If they are still showing red in the dashboard, then I believe that there's an update to the webUI which will only turn them back green, and only show red when the values change.

thank you squid. these drives were never red in the webui. i just got that emails when i rebooted. i'll keep an eye on it for now.
