I have my unRAID box (build details available here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=21470.0).

 

I have a VM on my esxi box, that is a Plex Media Server.  I didn't try the Plex module for unRAID, as I'm sure it won't be as good as a full fledge PMS server, dedicated.

 

I have another VM, which does all the work of downloading, processing...etc.  It has SABnzbd, Sonarr and CouchPotato.

 

Anyhow, are there any best practices on how to design the unRAID for best performance/IO? User-Shares recommendations?
