me not, just follow the Atlas thread and all should be fine :)

i'm booting my unRAID from VMDK..

 

Seems like when I just add my USB flash drive without passing it through, it's not detected by the guest VM.

Ah right.  Did you not get the warning about USB 3.0 devices when you passed through your USB controller?
