Cannot access server after simplefeature webserver package install

Featured Replies

I am working on getting virtualbox installed, and I downloaded simpleFeatures.web.server-1.0.11-i486-1.txz and ran installpkg.

I now cannot access my server GUI or files even after a reboot.

How do I fix this, and properly install simplefeatures webserver?

Hard reboot resolved the issue.  Just have to figure out how to install SimpleFeature webserver now!

This is the v6 General Support board.  Simple Features was a v5 system, 32 bit, cannot be installed in v6.  In V6, you already have Dynamix, the replacement for Simple Features.  Not sure what you are trying to load.

I guess he want's to install a webserver on his unRAID box.

Dynamix on v6 has no webserver plugin. The old simple features one is not compatible, like RobJ said.

If you are on v6 you have to use this apache webserver plugin.

If you are still on v5, you have to use the dynamix webserver plugin. I don't know if this will work anymore however as I'm on v6 now and did not keep track of the old one. Just give it try.

SimpleFeatures removed, and Dynamix with webserver installed.

Thank you!
