LordRaven
Hi, New to the whole Unraid technology and I'm having an odd error. I have a machine running V6b14 with Plex installed. It seems to install okay, but when I don't use it for a while, it appears to reset. When I go to the webui, it tells me its unable to check the version. I do the version check and it will come back on after a restart. Libraries seem to be mostly intact but it does have to rescan for metadata. Channels all reset and do not return. I've tried using https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/106842-possible-rcplexmediaserver-error-and-resetting-settingsini/ and http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=31485.msg303436#msg303436, however it seems that the structures have changed where I can tseem to find the plexmediaserverctl.php. Also in rc.plexmediaserver, I can't seem to the lines that we're supposed to modify. I'm attaching a copy of log if that helps. Thanks, Raven syslog.zip Quote Link to comment
LordRaven
Looks like it must have been a PEBCAK error. I think it may have been from me trying to save to my cache disk. I've corrected and we'll see how it goes. Quote Link to comment
trurl
How are you installing plex? Quote Link to comment
LordRaven
I did it by using the Plug in. Quote Link to comment
LordRaven
Yes sorry, the Phaze plugin. Quote Link to comment
LordRaven
Please ignore this whole thread. It was me learning the ropes where I didn't realize to turn off the cache from moving the files. Sorry and hopefully my last stupid question. Quote Link to comment
