I recently ran 6 disks at once with no problems. What is the potential problem running more? Memory issue?

Limited memory is probably the reason.

February 13, 20224 yr Wow, screen has saved my day! I have to copy 700 GB of data from fusion drive out of a mac that has recently died. And the terminal just keeps disconnecting. Now no more problems :)
