Found a nice resource for us Noobs on how to use screen.  A very powerful utility...

I was reading through the pre-clear post - http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Configuration_Tutorial#Install_Screen and they mentioned that you shouldn't use more than 4 preclears at a time.  I recently ran 6 disks at once with no problems.  What is the potential problem running more?  Memory issue?

Nice page, thanks!  I'm going to point to it.

So much of the wiki is old, written for v4 and v5, which are all 32 bit.  Limited memory is probably the reason.

Hey!  I was able to "give back" a bit.  I guess that's what community is all about, eh! ;)

Nice find.  Bookmarked that so I don't have to "re-learn" every time I use it (which is rare).

Wow, screen has saved my day! I have to copy 700 GB of data from fusion drive out of a mac that has recently died. And the terminal just keeps disconnecting. Now no more problems :)
