April 22, 201511 yr Machine is an HP MicroServer, with a Sandisk Cruzer Fit USB stick, a WD Red (Parity), WD Black, Seagate, and HGTS data disks (my diversity policy! :-) Yesterday I suddenly realised I couldn't access any unRAID drives, or PING the server - went to it and plugged in a monitor & keyboard and it showed the "F10... F12" pre-boot screen, and didn't respond to the keyboard. With nothing left to try I power cycled it, and it booted up successfully, ran the Parity Check (5 hours!) which found nothing wrong. So any ideas: 1. Why it was trying to reboot? No power issues that I am aware of, and several other machines had no problems, including one next to it on the same power strip. 2. Why it froze at the pre-boot stage? Up to now this has been 100% reliable, having been running continuously for several months since I installed unRAID. Syslog shows only yesterday's reboot, so no point posting it, I reckon. Cheers, Howard
