One Drive is showing up as Not Installed

Out of nowhere one my drives is showing up as Not Installed with a Margenta\Red Ball next to it. Does this mean that my drive has failed and I need to replace it. Or something else Ex: Bad Cable or SATA Port? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

    Sorry for the late response!! Bios says that drive is  not detected

    Generally, if computer can't see it then unRAID won't. Check SATA and power cables at both ends. Maybe try a different SATA port.

     

    If none of that works, might be a dead drive. You could try plugging it in to another computer and see if it is detected there.
