no boot after upgrade from 5.0-rc10 ** syslinux issue? [solved]

Featured Replies

I just upgraded from unRaid 5.0-rc10 to 5.0.6 following the instructions here: https://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_Instructions

I copied over bzroot and bzimage. Syslinux.cfg is in my root directory, in the upgrade it is in it's own directory. I copied syslinux.cfg from the folder of the upgrade to the root, no boot, so I also copied the entire directory.

What I get on boot is this: SYSLINUX 3.72 2008-09-25 EBIOS Copyright © 1994-2008 H. Peter Anvin

The above line hangs on the screen after the bios, and just holds there, no boot.

I have also tried various combinations of old/new syslinux.cfg files in root, keeping the new syslinux folder. I have tried running make_bootable_mac with the same problem.

Originally this flash was setup with Windows if that makes any difference, but wouldn't think so now that I have run make_bootable_mac.

The flash is a Kingston 2Gb.

The motherboard is an ASUS F1A75V-PRO

Any help?
