I would like to know if this drive would be ok to use as my parity drive in Unraid 6.

I am running the latest beta of Unraid 6

You can use it, but there's no benefit to using this vs. a standard non-hybrid drive.  I'd just use a 4TB WD Red, HGST NAS, or Seagate NAS unit  (I prefer the WD Reds).    But if you already have the drive, it's fine to just use it.

Is the preclear_disk script ok to use in Unraid 6?

Did it change for unraid 6?

 

Yes it did change but that was over 1 year ago. Just make sure you are using the latest and you will be fine.
