Is it possible to poll the CPU temperature via the command line?

Could this be added to the web interface along with case temp and fan speeds?

I second this request and would like to add: a separate administrator web page for all temps and polled smart information.

I haven't tried, however the lm_sensors (hardware monitoring package) can

help according to its documentation.

"...lm_sensors provides tools for monitoring the temperatures, voltages,

and fans of Linux systems with hardware monitoring devices.  Included

are text-based tools for sensor reporting, and a library for sensors

access called libsensors..."

I agree, this would be great.

Some support for this was added in the recent v4.5 betas.  If you are using a recent beta version and have installed UnMENU, try going to the System Info plugin, then the CPU Info button, then to the bottom of the page.  What you see will vary with the motherboard and its sensor chips.  I see temps for both cores of my CPU.  I suspect more support for this is coming, and will be displayed in the unRAID web management pages.
