May 3, 201511 yr I have a Powerware 9120 UPS and its not detected by the APCUPS deamon in unraid. I am not super good with linux but I can get by. I'm not sure if this is supported or how I can get it working. When I connect it via USB it says "UPS: Lost Communication". I can get it working in windows with the UPS software install. Is there something I need to install into unraid to get this working?

If anyone else with more experience than I on UPS systems could comment, I'd be grateful ;-)

If you can't get it working with APCUPSD in Windows, then it won't work on unRAID with APCUPSD.
May 3, 201511 yr APCUPSD is designed for APC systems, but also works on those UPS systems that use the APC signaling protocols, and some have found that CyperPower and others do work with it. But if you cannot get yours to work, then you will have to wait for NUT support (Network UPS Tools project), which is planned to be included in unRAID in a future version, according to the Roadmap. NUT should support all other UPS units, and has Powerware modules (see the NUT hardware compatibility list).
May 3, 201511 yr Author The software with windows is some proprietary software that came with it. I did see some linux drivers for it but I believe that is just to enabled NUT support. I will wait for that module in the future then. Thanks.
