May 13, 201511 yr Hard to say from the snippet. A complete smart report and the matching section of syslog would help. Something happen at power on hour 14554, but 1800 more errors occurred previous to those shown. Maybe at the same time, maybe year ago. This error can be the cable, drive, or controller, or even the OS/driver.
May 14, 201511 yr Author Given that my RAID controller card just failed and caused me all sorts of headaches I'll chalk it down to that. Also, I've fully precleared and extended smart checked the drive since this log was generated and the drive appears healthy.
