May 13, 201511 yr Community Expert Well, txz files will be automatically installed on boot if you put them in /boot/extra. However, the better way is to use a docker or at least a plugin. If you don't want to tackle docker yet, see the plugin subforum for PhAzE thread.

This allows the plugin manager to keep track of what is installed, alerting when new versions become available, and allows the user to do a proper uninstall once not needed anymore. Or start using the Docker versions ...
