May 24, 201511 yr I am about to pull the trigger on a Tivo Romio OTA DVR (replacing Channel Master DVR+) with the hope I can get the recordings into Plex (thus viewable via Roku from all TVs in house). I have Googled on how to do this but most articles are about manual processing (ugh). Is there a Docker that does it all automatically for Tivo >> Plex?
May 24, 201511 yr Author #1 reason for this would be to avoid the additional expense of having to buy the Tivo "Mini" ($150 per TV) to be able to watch recorded shows on other TV sets.
May 24, 201511 yr Just a thought, might be easier if you checked out a method to make sure it works then ask if someone (not naming any names, but sparklyballs is the number one suspect ) can dockerise it. Do you mean something like this?
May 24, 201511 yr Author Interesting... a Plex plug-in. I will have to wait until I have the Tivo to test but this looks like it might work.

May 24, 201511 yr Check out pinion's pyTivo docker, it can push/pull content to/from your Tivo. Works great.
May 25, 201511 yr Author The "Tivo To Go" channel plugin failed my initial test. It found the tivo and displayed the recoding list but threw an error when trying to stream the recording. Both in browser & Roku. I will give the pyTivo a try.
May 22, 201610 yr Author Did you ever figure this out? Never found a reliable solution to run as docker. I have switched to a manual process using Archivo from Windows laptop. Works really well and you can queue up a bunch of episodes and let it run. Then upload to unRAID shares. http://straylightlabs.net/archivo/#download http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=532868&highlight=archivo
