I'm running 5 on an N40L with 3 3gb disk, and likely to go to four shortly. I'm only using it for media storage with a plex server , and wondering if the box is going to be too slow for 6 ? I'm not likely to be using any other functions of 6 as I just want recoverable data storage.

If you're simply using this as a NAS it'll work just fine with v6.    In fact, it may work slightly better, depending on how much memory you have installed.    Since v6 is 64-bit, all of the memory can be directly addressed, whereas any RAM over 4GB had to use PAE addressing, which isn't needed in 64-bit mode.

In which case you'll definitely want to move to v6.    In addition to better support for that memory, it has several nice basic NAS features that have finally been incorporated into the UnRAID core [e.g. notifications and UPS support].
