Unraid 6RC3 slow(er) parity check after update from 5.0.4

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I've been running unraid under ESXi for quite a while now with no issues whatsoever.

Parity check speeds have been so-so (could be faster) but were alright (finished in 7h30 with average speed of around 130Mb/s).

However, i now recently updated to 6.0RC3, as i found zeron's updated vmtools package!

Upon boot unraid incorrectly detected an unclean boot and so it started a parity check.

It ook 11h and 17minutes to finish with an average of 98Mb/s, which is quite a deal slower than before.

No other changes were made.

I updated following the instructions given in de readme provided by limetech (fresh install, then copy config folder)

I'm using a M1015 passed through to unraid.

I've attached an image of my unraid esxi settings and the syslog from my final boot containing the parity check.
