I wasn't referring specifically to CA, rather the shift of icons to monochrome.  I understand and agree with your approach to tie in with the overall design of the OS, Hell I even used a FA icon for Unraid Nvidia.

just wanted to say that i am loving the NEW CA!!!!
i'm running unraid 6.6.6 and it is performing SSOOOOO much faster and responsive! the info is cleaner, the categories are easier to toggle around between!

Hi, sorry I'm really frustrated with this plugin. It took quite a while to install and now seems to be working but nothing will install! It sits there for ages and then says network failure! I'm starting to regret installing Unraid and wish I'd stuck with Ubuntu, I just thought this would be a nice fast system. I have just rebuilt it as my old motherboard failed and now have a gigabyte Z390 UD with Intel i7 8700K and 16GB ram, so should be fast enough? Is there some setting I've missed? Hoping someone can help? Thanks, Tim

I would look into cabling / router issues.  Why is your IP addresses changing continually?

Thanks Squid, it was the bonding! It seems to not like working through a LAG, I'll play with that more when I have time! The switch is a TP-link easy smart 16 port supports it so not sure why it was a problem! Anyway, I've set it back to the default backup bond and that seems to work fine, everything downloading quickly as I expected!

I am simply trying to install the wrapper so I can install other plugins.

 

I have disabled bonding in my config and rebooted.

 

Could this be a outage with github?

I just tried to hit the link directly and this is the response..

 

       Error 503 Backend unavailable, connection timeout

Getting the same issue when I went to upgrade Community Applications.  It removed the old and couldnt install the new.  Still running unRaid 6.6.6

Line 1158 of the file is pointing to the wrong URL. I forked the repository, corrected the url and it installed.

Yea when i click it on my machine I see the text, but when i past the link into the URL it doesnt work.  I guess I could just copy the text and make my own file on unraid and load it that way.

 

So i just tried that.  The URL in the .plg file to download seems to be the issue.

if you go to that URL you get an error, if you change it from raw.github to raw.githubusercontent.com there is not file there.

Line 1158 of the file :https://github.com/Squidly271/community.applications/blob/master/plugins/community.applications.plg Is the issue. It is pointing to the wrong url and giving the 503.

 

I would share my link to the fork but I am not sure of the rules on the forums for that. Myself and one other member have put in a pull request to make the change. But you can simply fork it yourself. Go to that file in your fork, change the url to read

Instead of
