But, FWIW that's why the banner appeared on your system stating the CA shouldn't be run with PHP errors being displayed on production systems Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I've actually had it on "Default" (and PHP errors not set to display) when encountering this, hence CA also showed no such banner, but this later led me to the discovery of a bug or inconsistency between the OS defaults and the GUI's "Default" setting for the PHP error reporting level: https://github.com/unraid/webgui/pull/1829. 🙂
August 15, 20241 yr Any issue with the recently added tab in CA? I see every app is new, except all the language plugins. All entries in the CA are listed as add on "15.08.2024". I see entries that are months old on the first page of the recently added tab.

Major one was that CA actually crashed due to a circumstance that came up when i was re-cloning the appfeed and some data got trashed. That put the system down for about 20 minutes. I never noticed the Date Added problem at the time (it was also related to the first problem), so I re-cloned the system again overnight and it was fixed and running properly this morning.
August 17, 20241 yr I'm having trouble with the DockerHub search (Click Here To Get More Results From DockerHub). It's giving me way too many results that don't match my search term. I'm looking for https://hub.docker.com/r/snorre0815/idrive-docker/. If I search "idrive", I get a bunch of results with 'drive' in the name, but nothing with 'idrive' in the first few pages of results. Searching "idrive-docker" or " snorre0815/idrive-docker" gets me a bunch of results with 'drive' or 'docker' in the name, but again not what I'm looking for. Adding single or double quotes around my search term also does not help. Edited August 17, 20241 yr by jason701802
August 18, 20241 yr @squid Currently, when clicking onto the "support" button of any CA -Entry (after previously having scrolled down the page) it will lead to scolling up the page - even if you open any entry like "project" or "support" from the context menu. Can we somehow avoid that or could you avoid/fix that please? Thanks in advance!

How are the release circles? Another suggestion: Currently, on initial loading of CA, it shows a loader and refreshes the apps lib (it seems), which takes always a bit. That happens on every load of the frontpage...seems redundant to me. Suggestion: Not automatically doing that on every pageload. Instead: Do it only once (after inital app setup for example) and show, from there on, instead a button "refresh app index" (or similar) to trigger it manually. (Or maybe make it configurable?) Benefit: Improved pageload/speed overall for the whole app/index. Of course also similar solutions would be fine - just avoid the current behaviour, having to "wait" always some seconds after clicking onto "apps" 🙂 thx Edited August 25, 20241 yr by UnraidTobias
August 31, 20241 yr I Keep getting the "Action Centre Enabled" banner every time i go to the CA store - usually when i click it i have out of date plugins/containers....but when I click it now it just takes me back to the store, and the banner appears now every time i click apps. Edited August 31, 20241 yr by Schwiing
September 1, 20241 yr Author Action Centre Enabled banner isn't clickable... (Unless I'm misunderstanding you). When the banner appears (disappears within 10 seconds), the Action Centre on the left menu is not visible. Clicking it loads that section. Are you saying it doesn't and just takes you back to the home page?

Benefit: Improved pageload/speed overall for the whole app/index. The index isn't reloaded everytime you go to "Apps". It does however check for an update to the index everytime you go to "Apps". This involves downloading a 44 byte file. If there is no update then it doesn't download the full index. If there is an update then it will download the update. All downloads are compressed, and even on the full download (15Meg file), the actual bandwidth is up to about 400K. This isn't going to change. Note: If you get a banner stating "Backup Server Active", then yes this is process is significantly slower, as it first attempts from the primary server, and if unable to download or on timeouts it switches to a backup. Next release of CA operates slightly differently, and with some luck should in theory not ever downgrade. If this is super slow for you (my system it's roughly 1 second to display anything if there's no updates available, and ~5 seconds if there is one) then consider setting up static DNS servers (I prefer 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) within Settings, network settings to help with it all out. Having your router resolve the addresses is usually hit and miss since they generally point to your ISP's DNS servers which as a rule calling them slow and garbage is complimentary to how they actually are)

Apologies, I meant when I click "Action Centre" on the left menu, it says "No matching applications found" and then brings me back to the CA store. If i click "Apps" again, or refresh, it'll happen again and again. I uploaded a screen cap to help illustrate it. 2024-08-30_21-13-01.mp4

What you've got is a container installed that is also blacklisted for some reason. While I'm sorting this out (might not be for a couple of weeks as going on vacation in a couple days), comparing what you've got installed (docker tab) vs what appears within Apps, Statistics, Blacklisted Apps will tell you what is triggering it and the sidebar will likely tell you why
September 8, 20241 yr Author @Schwiing You ran into a weird edge case in CA which I was able to replicate, but the chain of events that led up to this on your server probably started years ago. Rather complicated to explain, and I'm quite sure that what I posted on an internal bug task list that other developers from LT also see makes no sense to them at all. Either way, I know what's happened (or at least partially what's happened on your installed containers) and can fix what you're seeing. Net result is that you do have a container installed that is either blacklisted or deprecated. Fix Common Problems will tell you which. Your GUI issue in CA will be fixed in next release of CA.

September 11, 20241 yr Hey, the APP "AMP" in the Repository by "CorneliusJD" is no longer visible. I can see, that this repo is marked as a duplicate here https://github.com/Squidly271/Community-Applications-Moderators/blob/1e509047f02e05fbabbb5a357a766d84e50d56a8/Repositories.json#L611 I think this is an error, because the image thats in the CA and the now hidden repo use different images and different settings. They work quiet differently and also the now visible AMP image had a bug in its release and wasnt updated for over a year til recently. So i personally would prefer the AMP image from the CorneliusJD repo Also the Image by MitchTalmadge is the more "Official" one, compared to the one by ImageGenius Edited September 11, 20241 yr by Joly0
