[Plug-In] Community Applications

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I got a brand new NAS hardware and just got the unRAID key made. Installed and booted into unRAID 7.2.3. However, when I try to install community plugin, I get the following error:

plugin: installing: community.applications.plg
Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks
plugin: downloading: community.applications.plg ...
plugin: community.applications.plg download failure: Invalid URL / Server error response
Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks

My device is connected to internet, can ping all major websites and also have my DNS set to 1.1.1.1.

How do I go about installing this?

Thanks in advance!

ZeeKay

booted up test box, installed 7.2.3 and it has 0 plugins. went to install CA and see the same thing.

its fallout of redirect being broken for https://github.com/unraid/webgui/blob/master/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/Apps.page#L26C41-L26C171

short term fix is correcting that url this to not need that redirect and then it will install just fine

sed -i 's#https://ca.unraid.net/dl/##g' /usr/local/emhttp/webGui/Apps.page

long term fix, unraid side needs to fix their redirect to restore the broken url to work..

update redirect has been fixed, above is no longer needed

Thank you, just installed Unraid for the first time couple minutes ago and was going mad about this one.
This allowed me to successfully install CA.

Thanks guys. This should now be fixed. Looks like a small config change had an unexpected consequence. Problem was masked because if CA was already installed it had an automatic fall back to handle a failure when doing plugins.

Hello, I'm not sure this is a CA issue or some corruption of mine but maybe you all can point me in the correct direction. I am running Unraid 7.2.3 and the latest CA. I have an issue where every-time I shut down or stop the array, old dockers are reinstalled (and sometimes newer one's are removed). I've removed them (the old dockers) all from the Previous Apps tab but they get resurrected if the array has to restart for any reason. I've tried to fix it asking an AI, but no luck so far. My one worry is I like my current configs and do not want to loose them! I'm using appdata backups every day. Is there a way to clear a cache to get back to just the current config? Help?

Thanks, Ken

Hello,

I submitted a template to CA > 30 days ago. I wasn't sure if this was still being managed or if Squid has some IRL stuff etc. Just wanted to see if there are any other users that manage this or if there is anything else I need to do. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/196057-support-jessielw-mp4forge/

Thanks!

Hello Squid and the CA Team,

I would like to submit my repository for inclusion in Community Applications.

Repository URL: https://github.com/allaboutduncan/clu-comics
Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/allaboutduncan/comic-utils-web/

About the App: CLU (Comic Library Utilities) is a web-based curation tool for digital comic libraries. It helps users manage, rename, and update metadata for CBZ/CBR files, and includes folder monitoring to automate library organization. Documentation site is at https://clucomics.org

I have followed the recommended folder structure and included the XML template in the /templates directory.

Thanks, Phillip (allaboutduncan)

It seems that there is a problem with the language classification of Community Applications. For specific details, refer to the link.

Action Centre stopped triggering for me.

  • Action Centre no longer triggers on its own.

  • In the Docker tab it correctly displays containers which are ready to update.

  • Pinning an app seems to trigger the Action Centre after a few minutes, but this is the only "fix" I've found.

  • I'm not exactly sure when the issue started but it was sometime after the 7.2.4 update.

Is there another place I should be posting this issue? I was directed to come here.

Post a screenshot of your CA Settings page.

I don't have any issues happening that I see in the application but thought I would report in the CA debugging download it looks like there is a TypeError:

Looks to be an issue in the Share Floor plugin, should report in the support thread for that.
