May 20May 20 Hey everyone, I am wondering why my latest templates are not recognized by CA?https://github.com/maschhoff/docker/tree/master/unraid%20xmlA lot of templates are ready to install via CA - the repo is setup for CA a long time ago. These templates are not listed under Statistics / Invalid Templates or Temlpate Errors. So any idea why iMapSyncWeb or webMC will not be listed? Thanks very much!

Just add a new Container and configure it right away. For every container you setup you will find a template in /boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user/copy that file and make it match to that xml format here:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/42808-plugin-templates-for-ca-appstore/Register for a new CA contributor - you will find all information there:https://ca.unraid.net/submitcheers!

May 28May 28 Hi, how do I update from a very old version of the CA plugin?I have just updated one of my servers from a 2022 release up to Unraid 7.0.1 and my "Apps" tab does not load properly and just shows a spinner forever. The current installation instructions indicate you can get the plugin from the Apps tab which is a problem for me as it will not load. Can I use the URL of a plg file to update? Where can I find that URL?My CA plugin version is 2022.04.03. The plugins page says that version 2024.12.14 is available. But when I click Update the output seems to indicate it is just staying on 2022.04.03. And also when I refresh the Plugins page it still says I'm on 2022.04.03. And I guess this is still kind of problematic because the actual latest version of CA seems to be 2026.05.15gh.Here is the output I get when I try to update the plugin by pressing the Update button. plugin: updating: community.applications.plg Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks Cleaning Up Old Versions Fixing pinned apps Setting up cron for background notifications +============================================================================== | Upgrading community.applications-2022.04.03-x86_64-1 package using /boot/config/plugins/community.applications/community.applications-2022.04.03-x86_64-1.txz +============================================================================== Pre-installing package community.applications-2022.04.03-x86_64-1... June 2Jun 2 Hey I submitted my repo featherdrop but it shows the repository/maintainer name ‚featherdrop'. Please rename it to ‚junkerderprovinz' so it matches my other apps (Krusader etc.), or remove the entry so I can re-add it with the correct name.GitHub: https://github.com/junkerderprovinz/featherdrop Thanks!
June 7Jun 7 Hey guys, someone maybe knows why these "yunkan" containers keep re-appearing under "recently added" every few days? The templates are found hereGitHubyunkan-unraid-templates/templates at main · mrtian2016/yu...云瞰 YunKan — Unraid Community Applications 模板仓库(CPU / OpenVINO / CUDA 3 个 amd64 变体) - mrtian2016/yunkan-unraid-templatesbut i cannot see any reason why they are re-added all the time, i just see they update the "changes" part in the templates when its updated. Its super annoying to see them every few days again and again. June 22Jun 22 For a profile with multiple apps, is it preferred to have a single shared repo or a dedicated repo per app on github? I submitted an app as a dedicated repo, but I changed my mind and want to use a single shared repository (unraid-templates). Is it possible to change the github repo after an app is submitted and published?
June 22Jun 22 If anyone figures out how to submit an additional plugin or have it detected in the form please let me know.I’m using the 1 repository which contains the profile.xml and app.xml’s. My repository is detected but doesn’t detect the new .xml.https://product.unraid.net/p/unclear-how-to-submit-new-plugin-to-be-published-to-caEDIT: Turns out as long as your plugin template .xml is in your CA repository it’ll auto detect for review. June 27Jun 27 Is there a way to turn off community apps from loading containers and just show plugins? I don't use containers any more, but I still use plugins.
July 1Jul 1 If CA is moving away from the Unraid tab to a new website what’s the install process going to look like? I don’t see any install buttons on the new website.

I guess the part of the announcement about it having a new home made me think it was moving.
July 7Jul 7 I am having some trouble getting the submit page to recognize my app. I submitted my repo like 4 hours ago and it still showsCurrent apps: 0Visible in CA: 0Hidden from CA: 0Submission Status: Auto Approved. When I originally submitted I had my mediaforge.xml template in the root of my repo but I moved that within minutes of submitting to CA and it still shows 0Here is my repo url: https://github.com/braydin72/MediaForge
July 12Jul 12 Hi,I noticed an ownership issue with the latest community.applications-2026.07.11-x86_64-1.txz.The package contents are shipped with the wrong owner/group:andrewzawadzki/staffinstead of:root/rootAfter installation, the Unraid overlay layer contained files owned by:501:gamesfor example:/var/local/overlay/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/*Even the overlay parent directories were affected:/var/local/overlay/usr /var/local/overlay/usr/local /var/local/overlay/usr/local/emhttp /var/local/overlay/usr/local/emhttp/pluginsowned by:501:gamesThe issue persists after reboot because the plugin package is extracted into the overlay during startup.I verified that the problem comes directly from the TXZ package:tar -tvf community.applications-2026.07.11-x86_64-1.txzshowed all files with:andrewzawadzki/staffThere is no ownership correction in the PLG install script, so upgradepkg applies the package metadata as-is.Repacking the TXZ with:chown -R root:root . tar cJpf ...and reinstalling fixed the ownership.Could you please check the build process for the 2026.07.11 package? Thanks!
July 12Jul 12 Hi @Squid, small heads-up on the new app-card layout in the latest CA update: on the cards, the app name overlaps the bottom of the icon. The cause looks like the icon is 8rem tall (img.ca_displayIcon) but .ca_iconArea only reserves 6.4rem and has no overflow, so the icon spills ~1.6rem past its box and the title right below it runs into it. It showed up with the recent "cleaner app-card titles" rework (dropping the category line and lowering the title's padding-top).Two easy options if it helps:.ca_iconArea { height: 8rem; } /* container gets the icon's real height */.ca_holder .ca_applicationName { padding-top: 2.5rem; } /* or just push the title clear of the icon */Thanks for all the work on CA!
