Got an issue with the app today! up until now it's been working flawlessly. I have un-installed it and re-installed several times but I still get the error message below. I havent rebooted the server yet as everything else seems to be working just fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message '[Array2XML] Illegal character in tag name. tag: @attributes in node: Config' in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php:100 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php(107): Array2XML::convert('Config', Array) #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php(56): Array2XML::convert('Container', Array) #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/helpers.php(312): Array2XML::createXML('Container', Array) #3 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php(287): makeXML(Array) #4 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php(1048): DownloadApplicationFeed() #5 /usr/local/src/wrap_post.php(17): include('/usr/local/emht...') #6 {main} thrown in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php on line 100

Last Change To Appfeed:

See attached picture.

I have that same problem too

I fixed it earlier by clicking "Update Applications", and it told me one of the repos could not be updated. Everything seemed to work OK. But now, a few hours later, same problem comes up and I cant install, see, or search for anything in the app list

Yeah, Update Applications should fix the problem.

This is because of the change to utilizing attributes in 6.2's templates.  It was working perfectly with gfjardim's 6.2 compliant templates, but somehow once ballooob updated his templates something's not quite right.

There will be an update at some point today, once I figure out exactly what the hell is going on here

Same issue...  Happily waiting on an update.

Thanks for the plugin

this is what I see after clicking Update Applications if it helps:

The following repositories failed to download correctly:

dmacias' plugin Repository https://github.com/dmacias72/unRAID-plugins/tree/master/plugins

Last Change To Appfeed: In Progress...

For whatever reason, the dockerMan routines refuse to get the information for that particular repository.  But, everything else works perfectly.

EDIT: Known issue, and is with the routines contained within dockerMan (I utilize them for my own purposes, and not necessarily the purposes they were designed for  ;)  )  Probably it timeouts on the download of that particular repository, but since it only ever utilizes those routines under emergency circumstances (appFeed problem - of which the above issue is related to), I'm not particularily worried about it.

Thanks.........

Nothing like a problem to wake you up on Saturday morning.  Beats coffee any day.

Thanks for the quick fix! hope it didn't ruin your Saturday too much :) Excellent plugin by the way and should be a part of the default unraid solution in my humble opinion! keep up the good work...

When bald people wash their face, how far up do they go?

Added: Ability to auto update selected plugins  (after all, everything else in the world autoupdates - why not unRaid?)

A new icon will now appear within the Community Applications section of unRaid's settings tab.  "Auto Update Settings"

This will allow you to select which plugins you would like to keep always updated with the current version without any user intervention.  I think the usage of the module is pretty self explanatory, but full help text is available on it (and the manual has also been updated)

One prerequisite is that under Settings - Notification Settings, you must have dynamix set to check for plugin updates (I would recommend daily).  It shouldn't matter if you have browser / email / agent notifications set up or not.  Note that if you have browser notifications enabled, you will still wind up having to acknowledge that notification as I do not believe it is possible (but willing to be proven wrong) for CA to cancel a browser notification automatically.

This module will not (and will never) automatically update the unRaid OS  It will however automatically update the webGUI if you allow it to.

The actual updates are installed according to the daily fixed schedule (adjustable via Dynamix Fixed Schedules plugin available within CA)

Because of some outstanding issues with dockerMan determining when updates are available for docker applications, this module will not support docker apps until those issues are resolved.

Lol.

Although I'm not bald yet (The Forrest is getting thinner), I have had my shampoo for half a year. Good thing for cheap bastards like me  ;D I think I used one bottle a week when I had loooong hair and worshipped Satan  :o

Being bald has benefits.

I haven't paid for a haircut for nearly ten years.

I can't remember the last time I owned a comb or a brush.

Applying suntan lotion to my head is a breeze.

I never get "bed head"

I'm way more aerodynamic....

My dome is an easily wiped clean surface.... lol

But the question still remains:

Enquiring minds want to know.

Well... you just keep going with soap until there's a point where shampoo becomes more appropriate.

Hi there.  Having a bit of a problem with CA something this morning.

I logged into the unRAID gui on my iMac.  There were a few plugin updates available, so I installed those.  Then it said there was an update to Community Applications (2016.04.17, I was on the previous version), so I clicked update, but it failed with an error, something about unable to read or write a directory (sorry, really should have grabbed a screenshot).  And now the output on my screen (the monitor hooked up to the unRAID box) is seemingly stuck in a loop (and I can't use the GUI anymore either.  And my mythtv and Plex dockers aren't responding.

26228932970_b73f5ae669_o.jpg

It's printing that error over and over, it's just flickering it's so fast.

I'm still pretty new to unRAID.  I could try powering it down, but that clears the logs, right?  Is there a way I can still get the log files?  I can still access shares.

Also right before this happened I deleted an old Win7 VM that I wasn't using anymore, but that shouldn't have anything to do with this?  Just trying to remember what else I did.

Thanks for any help!  I'm on a 6.1.9 mediabuild here.

Whatever disk your docker.img file is mounted on has some corruption (or the docker.img file is totally corrupted) and has been mounted as read-only.

Probably your best course of action is to ssh into your server and issue a

diagnostics

command, which will save your diagnostics to your flash drive.  The webUI is going to stay unavailable as for whatever reason, unRaid is continually trying to delete a file and failing, so to recover you're probably going to have to also issue a

powerdown -r

command to recover.

Then don't go into CA again until someone checks out your logs

You haven't had to click that button since June 2015.  (Part of the reason it says "Don't Click Me - Why Are You Clicking Me?" on its pop up)

Unless you're talking about Plugins - Check For Updates, in which case, yes you will now have lots of spare time on your hands to spend with your better-half.
