[Request] Show SWAP memory in dashboard

Recommended Posts

  • 3 months later...

Add SWAP memory size and allocated in the memory size section of the dashboard.

I use my swapfile plugin to create swap memory and it would be useful to see it on the dashboard.

"swapon -s"

We are looking into officially implementing swap file support and this would be something we could then see being added to the dashboard.  There are certain conditions I don't believe your plugin handles correctly today (such as not checking if the device the swap is on is btrfs or not; putting swap on btrfs is NOT supported and NOT a valid configuration, doing so can cause problems, that said, a loopback device may be ok and we are investigating that).  Long story short, yes, this would come with the integration of official swap support in unRAID.
