mossiemosforth
Hi guys. I've recently moved my unraid array to new (to me) hardware. During this transition i have also gone from beta 14 to rc3. Needless to say i have had to reboot the machine a few times during the process. My problem is that every time i have rebooted it recently i keep loosing my VM configurations. The vDisks stay where i left them (on an SSD outside the array using SNAP), but VM Manager reverts to showing a list of old vms i have since deleted. It's truly bizzare. I take it the vm configs are stored somewhere on the flash drive, as i cant see any stored with the vDisks as there were previously. Can someone please direct me to where i should be looking please? I've actually attached a txt output of the contents of my flash drive. There is so much in there as i've been updating the same build since the first v6 beta. If anyone could tell me what to remove (or what to keep if easier) it would be greatly appreciated. flashcontents.txt Link to comment
jonp
Please report what plugins you have installed (if any) and if you were using VMs in the previous beta. Link to comment
mossiemosforth
Please report what plugins you have installed (if any) and if you were using VMs in the previous beta. Hi Jon, i have been using VMs since the very beginning. First off with Xen, up until beta5a, then migrated to KVM from there. I upgraded as and when i had the time, so not every single beta version, but nearly. Here is 2 screenshots to show my VMs and my plugins. The UbuntuICS was created in rc3 and will disappear if i reboot. I also have another UbuntuVM that has disappeared, i just haven't yet built it again. The Win8VM and Kali were created previously in B14a, they are the only 2 should stay. I deletet all the others but they return upon reboot. VMs Plugins thanks in advance Link to comment
jonp
Please remove libvirt support plugin. It is no longer needed and is likely the cause of your issue now. Link to comment
