June 3, 201511 yr I just added an SSD cache drive to my server, but I see no way to actually test it's read and write speeds. Using unRAID 6. Is there a plugin or something?
June 4, 201511 yr Author Well can't you just copy data to a cache enabled share? My network is no where near capable of 550MB/s read and writes. I guess it doesn't really matter if it's getting those speeds though.
June 4, 201511 yr That's kind of what I was thinking. That said, if you run a VM from unRAID, it won't be limited to your network speed when accessing storage on the same system.

The result was 507MB/s, so seems to be working fine.
