5.0.6 no telnet

Upgraded two systems to 5.0.6 just now.

 

Can no longer telnet in to either host.

 

After a clean reboot, I could telnet into one of the systems, but it kicked me out with no errors whatsoever (simply terminated connection) after 10-15 seconds.  I telnet'd in a total of three times with same behavior, now telnet simply says connection refused.  This is on both servers now (connection refused).  Tried telnet'ing in from several hosts, same result.

 

Not sure what to do here.

    Sure you don't have a network problem?

     

    If not maybe try booting in SAFE mode.
