Error when registering unRaid 6 RC4

Featured Replies

I get the following error when trying to register the trial license for my unRaid 6.0 rc4 install

"Downloading https://keys.lime-technology.com/unraid/<redacted>/Trial.key ... ERROR (5)".

I have internet connectivity on the unRaid box as i am able to do successful pings, wget and traceroutes to the outside world.

How do I resolve this error?

It's the error code returned by wget and means "SSL verification failure."  That's the first time we've seen this error.  You can try tacking on "--no-check-cerfiticate" to the end but that shouldn't be needed.  Can you download directly to your PC?

NOTE: I edited your post to remove the full valid link to the key.  Even though this is a Trial and no harm really in doing so, no one should be posting their key links on a public forum.  If someone got ahold of your purchased key or key link they could 'replace' your key with a different GUID.

I can download the key directly to my computer. How do I install it manually once I have done that?

It should be copied to the 'config' folder on the USB drive.

The USB drive can be accessed as /boot from a telnet/console session, or as the 'flash' share over the network
