unRAID OS Version: V6 RC 5

 

Description: When upgrading the UNRAID plugin in the WebGUI from RC3 to RC4, or RC5, after rebooting, VM manager shows that the VM's did not start. When you try to start the VM I get the following error: "Error: invalid argument: could not find capabilities for arch=x86_64 domaintype=(null)"

 

If you then try to add a new VM, the naming portion of the WebGUI is present, but the template section is blank (see attached Screen Capture). The only way I could resolve was to go back to RC3.

 

How to reproduce:

- Have RC3 running with VM running (windows 7)

- upgrade using WebGUI to RC4 or RC5

- reboot UNRAID

- VM's will not boot

- Cannot add VM's either

 

Expected results: VM's would run, and new VM's could be added.

 

Actual results: VM's won't run, can't add new VM's

Upon removing all plugins, the VM's are now loading, as are the template settings in VM Manager. I am slowing adding plugins back until I get the same result. Will post back.

Your syslog indicates you had control panel plugin installed. Don't install that again. And don't install any 32-bit plugins.

Control panel had been left over from a previous setup and I had not removed it correctly.
