Copying files from one disk to another in array

Featured Replies

Just wondering what's the best way to copy files from one disk in the array to another?  Is it still MC?  Is there something I can use via the GUI or does it have to be done at the console?

Also, if you wouldn't mind pointing me to where I can get it and how to install...

You could use MC, direct CLI, via your PC and there are other threads that discuss this.

I put up an excel utility that might be helpful.  You might want to look thru this thread.  If you use my excel sheet, use the Indexer v 04.07-02-02-01e version.  FYI, I have only ran this on Unraid v5.06.

Is MC available via a plugin to use via the Plugins tab or do I have to actually telnet to the server?  It's been a long time since I used it.

telnet

Or alternatively you could also install the Dolphin docker application for a full GUI to accomplish the same thing

unBALANCE sounds like what you need.  It is a dockers in the repo.  Haven't used it yet but comments are good.
