June 20, 201511 yr I'm confused as to the best way to backup and restore my VMs. They currently live solely on my cache drive and I'd like to make backups to my protected array, either manually or on a schedule. I found a post which describes a method of doing this manually with the VMs stopped (it works) but was hoping there might be an plugin or something GUI based? June 25, 201511 yr Eventually we want to make VM backups as a function built into unRAID, its just not scheduled or on the roadmap yet as there are several ways we could do this and there are other things we need to tackle first. The method you are doing now is fine, but longer term, yes, we want to make this far easier.
